Position

In this high-level role, you will implement a comprehensive program of internal consulting services, manage the recruitment of strategic faculty candidates and manage major business initiatives that support our education and research missions.

Duties include: 

  • Participating in the development, implementation and evaluation of new business plans, proposals, policies, processes, systems and applications; 
  • Reviewing financial plans; managing budgets; analyzing regulatory requirements that impact business operations; overseeing personnel;     
  • Helping the Vice Dean for Science and the Vice Dean for Education, Faculty and Academic Affairs develop strategic plans and process improvements; and 
  • Evaluating business performance 
Requirements

We’re seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong attention to detail and excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, customer service, organizational, multitasking, analytical and problem-solving skills.     

Qualifications include: 

  • A master’s degree in healthcare policy and management, healthcare or public administration, or a related field; 
  • 7-12 years’ related work experience with strategic/program planning responsibilities;  
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Access; 
  • Experience developing financial plans and performing financial analyses is crucial; and 
  • Our ideal candidate will also have experience with business process design and improvement.
